Boxing Near Slade Green (2026 Guide)
Boxing Near Slade Green: Your 2026 Guide
Slade Green is a small riverside community sitting close to Erith and Crayford, near the Thames marshes. Slade Green station on the Southeastern line connects it to central London, and the area has a growing population looking for more to do locally.
The nearest serious boxing gym is Honour and Glory in Kidbrooke, 15 minutes away by car.
Getting There From Slade Green
From Slade Green station, the most direct route is by car: head west through Erith and connect to the A206 and then the A2 into Kidbrooke. The gym is at 122 Broad Walk, Kidbrooke, SE3 8ND. Free parking is on site.

The Southeastern line from Slade Green does not directly serve Kidbrooke. Driving is the more practical option for evening sessions.
What You Will Find at Honour and Glory
The club was founded in 2020 and now has over 200 members from across south east London. ABA affiliated, BBBofC licensed coaches, 4.9 stars on Google from 40-plus reviews.
This is not a fitness centre with boxing classes. It is a boxing club that takes the sport seriously and produces results for both recreational members and competitive boxers.

Slade Green and the Case for Making the Trip
Slade Green is a growing area with a community that values practical local amenities. A boxing gym is not the kind of amenity that can be replicated locally with a small space and some equipment. The coaching quality at Honour and Glory is what justifies the 15-minute drive.
Members from Erith and Crayford make the same journey regularly. The commitment becomes routine quickly.
See the Slade Green area page for local directions and transport information.
