Find a London venue for your boxing show

From a local club show to a dinner event with ringside tables, the room shapes the night. Explore venues with documented boxing use, then bring H&G your brief.

A venue shortlist with boxing behind it

This directory looks at public records for shows between 17 October 2021 and 17 October 2026 in Greater London. It includes amateur, white-collar and professional boxing, with crossover events and showcases labelled separately. Each entry links to a dated listing, report or record.

It is a researched list, not a complete register of every show. Smaller events can leave little public evidence. A past listing does not prove a show went ahead, and a past show does not guarantee that the venue accepts boxing now. PRYZM Kingston is retained as a clearly marked closed venue.

Let H&G help organise your show

Send us your dates, audience size and budget. We can discuss a venue shortlist, venue enquiries and the organising work you want us to coordinate. We will agree the scope and fee with you before making arrangements.

Prefer a call? 07544 737278. We will confirm the scope, price and availability before you book.

H&G is your point of contact for organising support. We do not claim to own, exclusively represent or have a booking agreement with these venues. Venue acceptance, price and event permissions must be confirmed for your particular show.

Build the show brief before choosing the room

A ring fitting through the doors is only the start. Work out how many people you expect, whether they need seats or dinner tables, and where the boxers will change and warm up. Then look at the space left for officials, medical provision, camera positions and clear access routes.

The right capacity is the one approved for your complete layout. A venue's standing concert figure or theatre-seat count does not tell you how many people can attend your boxing show. Ask for a floor plan with the ring, its working area and all audience positions marked.

What needs to be confirmed?

  • The format: amateur, professional, white collar or another clearly defined ruleset, with the appropriate governing or organising body involved.
  • The booking: date options, setup and breakdown time, ring delivery, floor protection, storage, insurance and cancellation terms.
  • The people: officials, medical provision, security, stewards and named responsibilities for the event.
  • The audience: seating or tables, accessible entry and viewing, toilets, food, bar arrangements and ticketing.
  • The budget: venue, ring, production, staffing, medical arrangements, catering and contingency. An old show's ticket price is not a hire quote.

Boxing can fall within regulated entertainment. Confirm what your event needs with the venue, the relevant local authority and your governing or organising body. The government's entertainment licensing guidance explains the framework; a previous event at a venue is not permission for a new one.

From shortlist to show night

Start by sending H&G two or three possible dates, the format and a realistic audience estimate. Tell us which parts you already have covered and which you want help arranging. We can then discuss suitable enquiries and an agreed organising role, including what needs a specialist supplier or the venue's own team.

If your enquiry is about a boxer rather than a whole show, use our cutman and fight hand-wrapping service, white-collar training page or independent Quest boxing guide. For a private group session at our Greenwich gym, see private boxing events.

How we built this list

We reviewed venue and promoter announcements, regional and national boxing archives, ticket listings, charity reports and published results. Entries are distinct physical venues or separately operated rooms. Wembley Stadium and OVO Arena Wembley are separate; so are The O2 arena and indigo.

Dates describe the cited example, not every show at that venue. Samuel Montagu has a reporting period because its accounts do not name the day. The evidence labels distinguish results and reports from advance listings. Formats describe the cited event and do not imply that a venue currently accepts every kind of boxing.

Epsom Downs, Brentwood and other venues outside Greater London are outside this directory. We have also excluded old history-only venues and listings that establish training, wrestling or kickboxing without a boxing show in the period.

Have a missing venue, a closure or a better source? Send us the venue name and a dated show link. We can check it for a future update.
