Respect first
Every person in the gym is treated with respect. That applies to coaches, parents, juniors, beginners, visitors, competitors and professional fighters.
Respect and community
Honour & Glory is a proper boxing club. That means discipline, control and respect. Everyone who trains here helps keep the gym safe.
We welcome people from every background, culture, gender, sexuality, faith and experience level. Immigrants, LGBTQ+ members, women, men, parents, children, complete beginners and serious fighters all share the same floor.
The rule is simple: train hard, respect others, leave the ego outside.
Every person in the gym is treated with respect. That applies to coaches, parents, juniors, beginners, visitors, competitors and professional fighters.
No racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, religious abuse, bullying, intimidation or harassment. Different backgrounds, same standard.
Boxing is a contact sport, but it is not chaos. Sparring is coach-led, matched sensibly and stopped immediately if someone ignores instructions.
No showing off at someone else’s expense. No trying to hurt people in drills. No macho posturing. Train hard, stay humble and help the room get better.
We do not tolerate behaviour that turns boxing into ego, intimidation or a performance of toughness. That includes:
Speak to a coach, message the club or ask a parent/guardian to contact us if you are under 18. Concerns are taken seriously. Coaches have final say in the gym and can stop a session, remove someone from training or escalate safeguarding concerns where needed.
If you want a gym where people train hard without ego, intimidation or toxic gym culture, come and see us.
