Head Coach Anton Pattenden with a professional boxer and the Honour and Glory team

Private professional route

Professional boxing support, built around where you are now.

Speak directly with Anton Pattenden, Honour & Glory Head Coach and BBBofC licensed trainer/second. Start with your licence position, current team and the support you actually need. This is a private coaching conversation, not a free class trial.

The evidence behind the conversation

Licensed responsibility, not borrowed language

Anton holds a BBBofC trainer/second licence and has prepared and cornered professional boxer Ibz Mercan. The photographs on this page show the working environment, padwork and fight-night corner rather than stock imagery.

The Board's published rules distinguish licensed roles: a trainer/second may train a boxer and act as a second; a second's licence alone does not permit someone to act as trainer. The rules also require licensed supervision of a professional boxer.

That is why the form asks about your licence status, current setup and exact support. Any training or fight-night arrangement has to fit your existing agreements, the applicable rules, Anton's licence scope and real availability.

What can be scoped

Agree the job before making assumptions

Training base and coaching fit

Discuss schedule, gym access, technical priorities, travel and how a new setup would sit alongside your licensed representatives.

Fight-camp support

Start from the confirmed or target date, current condition, available rounds and responsibilities. Fight-camp boxers can also ask to use H&G's installed AICO system to record and review suitable sparring. See how to try AICO at H&G. Sparring and specialist support remain subject to suitability and availability.

Licensed corner / second

Confirm the event, governing authority, existing chief second and team roles before any fight-night commitment is made.

Professional hand wraps

Provide the fight date, venue and ruleset so Anton can confirm whether compliant wrapping support is possible.

What is deliberately outside this route

No guaranteed fights, opponents, purses or results. No claim of manager, promoter or matchmaker representation. No legal advice, medical clearance or rapid weight-cut promise. Those decisions stay with the appropriately licensed or qualified people and the governing authority.

Private enquiry

Give Anton the useful context once

This form goes to Anton's dedicated club address. The optional record/profile and fight date help him prepare, but you can leave either blank. Do not include medical records or contract documents here.

  • State where you are now, not where someone says you should be.
  • Select the support you want to discuss.
  • Anton reviews the context before replying privately.

If the matter is time-sensitive, submit the form first and then use the professional WhatsApp link. Availability is confirmed only after the details are checked.

This confidential professional route is for people aged 18 or over. If you are under 18, or a parent or guardian enquiring for a young boxer, use the competitive amateur pathway instead.

Town, borough or outward postcode only. Do not enter a street address or full postcode.

Support you want to discuss

Select all that apply.

This is the professional route. It does not create a trial booking or commit either side to an arrangement.

Under 18, or enquiring as a parent or guardian? Use the competitive amateur pathway. Other non-professional enquiries can browse club classes. This adult professional form is deliberately separate from group-class trials.
