WHY PARENTS CHOOSE US

QUALIFIED COACHES

Every coach is BBBofC licensed, DBS checked, and trained in safeguarding. Several have trained fighters at regional and national level. Your child learns from people who know what they are doing.

STRUCTURED CLASSES

Sessions follow a clear structure: warm-up, technique work, pad rounds, and conditioning. Children are grouped by age (infants 5-9, juniors 10-16) so training is always appropriate.

NO CONTRACTS

Group classes cost between 5 and 10 pounds per session. No joining fees, no monthly contracts, no lock-ins. Your child's first session is completely free with no obligation.

COMMUNITY VALUES

We are a registered charity focused on the local community. Boxing teaches discipline, respect, and resilience. Many of our members have been with us for years because they feel part of something.

WHAT YOUR CHILD WILL LEARN

Boxing is more than hitting things. Children at Honour and Glory develop coordination, balance, and spatial awareness through footwork drills and movement exercises. They build cardiovascular fitness and strength without the monotony of running laps or doing press-ups.

The mental benefits are just as significant. Boxing requires focus, discipline, and the ability to control emotions under pressure. Children learn to listen to instructions, respect their training partners, and push through difficulty. These skills transfer directly to school and everyday life.

For children who want to compete, we offer a clear pathway through the junior amateur programme. But there is zero pressure to fight. Many of our juniors train purely for fitness, confidence, and because they enjoy it.

SAFEGUARDING

We take the safety of young people seriously. All coaches working with children hold enhanced DBS checks and follow the Amateur Boxing Alliance safeguarding policy. We have a designated safeguarding officer and clear reporting procedures.

Class sizes are kept manageable so every child receives proper attention. Children are never left unsupervised, and parents are welcome to watch from the viewing area at every session. We maintain a strict code of conduct for all members.
