BOXING PT FOR PETTS WOOD RESIDENTS
Petts Wood has a handful of gyms, but none with the boxing pedigree of Honour and Glory. If you are serious about learning to box, either for fitness, confidence or with an eye on competing, you need coaches who have worked in the sport at a competitive level.
We are about 25 minutes from Petts Wood by car, or around 35 minutes by train from Petts Wood station to Kidbrooke. Our 1-to-1 sessions are structured around your goals. Complete beginners learn the fundamentals from scratch. Those with some experience work on the gaps in their game. Either way, you leave each session with something concrete to show for it.

QUALIFIED COACHES
Twenty-five minutes from Petts Wood. Our coaches hold British Boxing Board of Control licences and have trained competitive amateur boxers. The coaching depth here is different from a PT who offers boxing as a side service.
REAL BOXING ENVIRONMENT
Full ring, heavy bags, speed balls. When you are learning to box, the environment matters. You need proper equipment to practise properly.
REGISTERED CHARITY
Honour and Glory is a registered charity. We operate without contracts or joining fees. Group classes are £5-10 per session. Personal training pricing is available on request.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Your first session starts with the basics: stance, guard, movement. Our coaches will assess where you are and build a plan around your goals. No two sessions are identical because no two people have identical needs.
Typical sessions include warm-up, technical work, pad rounds with your coach and bag work. You will learn combinations, develop timing and practise defence. It is hard work, but it is work that goes somewhere.
All our coaches hold British Boxing Board of Control licences and are affiliated with the Amateur Boxing Alliance. They have trained fighters who compete at regional and national level. You are getting proper coaching, not generic personal training with boxing gloves.
