About England Boxing competitions

England Boxing runs the official national championship pathway in England. The National Amateur Championships (NACs) are the most prestigious domestic competition, with finals held at major arenas. Winners earn the right to represent England internationally.

The pathway runs from Schools and Minors (youngest age groups) through Youth and Junior championships to the senior NACs. Development Championships provide additional competition for fighters aged 14 to 40.

The 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow will feature boxing as a core sport. Qualification routes run through national championships and international selection events throughout the year.

Even if you are not competing at this level, attending these events as a spectator is one of the best ways to learn what high-level amateur boxing looks like. It will sharpen your understanding of timing, movement and ring control.
