Recently took my son for a lesson. Very friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable coaches, great facilities. Totally recommend.
Diverse boxing club London
Diversity and inclusion should not be used as decoration. In a boxing gym, they show up in who feels able to walk in, how coaches manage the room, whether beginners are respected and whether different goals can exist under one club standard.
We do not claim to be the most diverse boxing club in London. Without measured demographic evidence, that would be the wrong kind of claim. We can describe the inclusive standards we try to uphold and the routes that make the club usable for more people.
For adults, families, women, juniors, beginners and local people who want a respectful community club. First scheduled group class free. Personal training is paid separately.
Decision criteria
A genuinely inclusive boxing club should be visible in behaviour, not just slogans.
01
Clear respect standards set by coaches and reinforced in the room.
02
Routes for different ages, genders, experience levels and goals.
03
Beginners treated as learners, not outsiders.
04
Competitive standards available without forcing every member toward fighting.
05
Parents able to understand junior routes and safeguarding expectations.
06
Marketing that avoids claiming more than the club can evidence.
H&G approach
The point is not to hide behind a careful headline. The page should help you decide whether the club is a serious fit.
The club offers adult recreational, junior recreational, women-only, competitive, open-session and personal training routes.
The coaching standard is built around discipline, respect and proper boxing rather than intimidation.
People can start with a free group class, then choose whether the room feels right.
We are deliberately careful with superlative claims: we would rather show the standard than overstate it.
Evidence and routes
These are the pages to inspect if you want specifics rather than marketing adjectives.
Parents and juniors should be able to see how the club treats safety and responsibility.
SafeguardingThe best test is to train in the room and see whether the standard feels right.
Book free trialLocal fit
H&G sits in Kidbrooke and serves families, adults and young people across Greenwich, Blackheath, Lewisham, Woolwich, Charlton, Eltham, Bromley and Bexley. The aim is not to be a slogan. The aim is a room where different people can train properly.
Member and parent reviews
Reviews cannot prove a city-wide superlative, but they help you understand what people repeatedly notice about the club.

The class with John was excellent. First time doing boxing training and he was patient as well as extremely informative when explaining the beginner boxing fundamentals. Highly recommend this class to someone hesitating to start at the beginning.

Questions before you book
No. That would need strong comparative evidence. H&G focuses on clear routes, respect standards and a room that different people can test for themselves.
It means coaching standards, respect, clear routes for different ages and goals, and a culture where beginners can learn without being belittled.
