Recently took my son for a lesson. Very friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable coaches, great facilities. Totally recommend.
Boxing club for women London
A good boxing club for women should not mean a watered-down class. It should mean proper coaching, a respectful room, clear options and a first session that does not feel like a test of confidence before you have started.
We do not claim to be the best club for women in London. We do offer a women-only class route, mixed adult classes and paid personal training options so women can choose the start that fits.
For women who want real boxing, women beginners, returners and people comparing women-only and mixed classes. First scheduled group class free. Personal training is paid separately.
Decision criteria
Before choosing a boxing club, women should be able to judge the route, room and coaching standard clearly.
01
A women-only option if that makes the first step easier.
02
Mixed classes that are respectful, coached and not dominated by ego.
03
No pressure to spar, fight or prove toughness before learning the basics.
04
Coaches who correct technique and manage the room properly.
05
Clear guidance on kit, gloves, wraps and what to expect in session one.
06
A paid private route if one-to-one coaching is more suitable than a group class.
H&G approach
The point is not to hide behind a careful headline. The page should help you decide whether the club is a serious fit.
The Saturday women-only class teaches real boxing technique in a women-only setting.
Women can also train in mixed Adult Recreational classes if the timetable works better.
The first scheduled women-only or adult group class can be booked as a free trial.
Women’s personal training is available separately if a private start is the better route.
Evidence and routes
These are the pages to inspect if you want specifics rather than marketing adjectives.

The women-only class is at H&G in Kidbrooke, serving Greenwich, Blackheath, Lewisham, Woolwich, Charlton, Eltham, Bromley and Bexley. If you are searching locally, the practical question is which route gets you through the door and back again.
Member and parent reviews
Reviews cannot prove a city-wide superlative, but they help you understand what people repeatedly notice about the club.

The class with John was excellent. First time doing boxing training and he was patient as well as extremely informative when explaining the beginner boxing fundamentals. Highly recommend this class to someone hesitating to start at the beginning.
