Honour and Glory Boxing Club runs children's boxing classes on Mon/Wed/Fri from 5pm at 122 Broad Walk, Kidbrooke, SE3 8ND. The gym is 18 minutes by car from New Cross, with free parking on site.

Children aged 7-16 start with Junior Recreational. Sessions cost £8.50 with no contract or joining fee. Junior Competitive is for ages 10-16 on the competitive pathway.

There is no contact sparring in the Junior Recreational route for children at the younger end of Junior Recreational. The focus is on skill and movement.

The Juniors Programme (Ages 10 to 16)

Older children in the Juniors group develop more advanced combinations and conditioning work. Some junior members express interest in amateur competition and the coaches support that pathway where appropriate.

The majority of junior members train recreationally and that is entirely the norm at H&G.

The Coaching and Safety Standard

Every coach at Honour and Glory is DBS-checked. The club is ABA affiliated, the coaching team is ABA/Alliance-credentialed, and BBBofC professional experience is led by Anton Pattenden. These are the correct credentials for a children's boxing programme and parents should not accept a club without them.

Getting There from New Cross

By car from New Cross the journey to Kidbrooke is around 18 minutes. By public transport, take the Overground from New Cross Gate to Lewisham and then a bus toward Kidbrooke. Most families from the area find driving or a taxi more practical for evening drop-off.
