Kids Boxing Classes Near Falconwood
Falconwood is close to good schools and has a community that takes children's development seriously. If you are looking for a sport that goes beyond physical fitness and teaches discipline and focus under pressure, boxing at Honour and Glory in Kidbrooke is 11 minutes from Falconwood.
Classes run weekdays from 5pm at 122 Broad Walk, Kidbrooke, SE3 8ND.
Two Age Groups
Infants (ages 7 to 9): The younger group works on movement, coordination, and basic technique at a pace that suits the age. Sessions are shorter and the emphasis is on building habits: feet active, guard up, listening to instructions. Children at this age absorb technique well when it is introduced progressively.
Juniors (ages 10 to 16): Longer sessions, more technical work, controlled pad rounds with coaches, and the option to compete in amateur bouts at the appropriate stage. Several junior members from around Eltham and Falconwood have represented the club in ABA competitions.
What Parents From Falconwood Notice
Schools in the area are generally good and parents have high expectations. The common observation from families who bring children to train here is that the focus required for boxing carries over. Children who are coached properly in a sport that demands attention tend to develop patience and the ability to concentrate on a task until they get it right.

That is not a claim about boxing being magic. It is what repeated coaching in a technically demanding activity tends to produce.
Coaches and Safety
All coaches are DBS checked. The club is ABA affiliated. Children work on pads with coaches, never free sparring until a coach has assessed them as ready. The progression is structured and the safety standards are formal, not improvised.
