BEGINNER BOXING CLASSES NEAR CANARY WHARF

Local beginner boxing guidance for Canary Wharf. Adults should use the adult beginner route; juniors should use Junior Recreational.

If you are searching for the best beginner boxing classes near Canary Wharf, start with the coaching rather than the postcode. Honour and Glory Boxing Club in Kidbrooke teaches complete beginners from stance, guard and footwork upwards. You do not need to be fit first, you do not need your own gloves, and you will not be pushed into sparring before you are ready.

The right beginner gym gives clear instruction, individual correction and a route beyond the first few sessions. That is the job of our recreational adults boxing class. If you want the full first-session guide before booking from Canary Wharf, read our adult beginner boxing guide. If you want individual correction before joining a group, use beginner boxing personal training.

By Car

About 15 minutes from Canary Wharf or the Isle of Dogs via the Blackwall Tunnel when traffic is light. Be honest with yourself about rush hour - the tunnel approach queues, so allow extra time for weekday evening classes. Free parking is available at the gym at 122 Broad Walk, SE3 8ND.

By Bus

From the Isle of Dogs, cross to North Greenwich by Jubilee line or local buses, then take the 335 bus towards Kidbrooke Village and walk the final stretch to Broad Walk. Check live times before you set off.

By Train

Jubilee line one stop to North Greenwich then the 335 bus, or DLR to Lewisham followed by a Southeastern train to Kidbrooke via Blackheath. Allow around 35 min door to door either way. Kidbrooke station is an 8-minute walk from the gym.

A major local neighbourhood close to the Broad Walk gym, useful for residents checking whether H&G is a genuinely local boxing club.
