Pay as you go

BOXING CLASSES AND PRICES NEAR BELVEDERE

A clear DA17 guide for comparing group classes, no-contract pricing and paid private coaching at the Kidbrooke gym.

If you live in Belvedere and want the price question answered before you book, start with the practical route chooser. Separate scheduled group classes from paid personal training, check the no-contract model, and use the internal links that matter before you choose what to book.

Honour and Glory is not a Belvedere high-street gym. The club is in Kidbrooke, so the first decision is which route fits: scheduled group class, junior class, women's boxing, fitness training or paid PT. For many Belvedere visitors that means driving through Woolwich on the A206, using the station and bus connection, or planning around the same visit as nearby Abbey Wood, Erith and Thamesmead members.

The group-class routes are pay as you go. There is no joining fee and no monthly contract for those routes, which keeps the first step simple: try the scheduled group class, see whether the room and route work, then decide whether to keep coming.

Personal training is separate. Solo, Duo and Trio PT are paid private coaching routes and depend on coach availability, goals and format. If you want individual coaching rather than a normal group session, use the Belvedere PT route and message first rather than booking a free group-class trial.

For Belvedere visitors, the useful money question is not just price. It is whether the right route is a group trial, paid PT, or a different class route before booking.

What pay as you go means here

You pay for the group sessions you attend. There is no membership to justify, no joining fee to recover and no need to guess your long-term routine before you have tried the class.

That matters for Belvedere because price only helps when it is tied to coaching quality, class fit and the right booking route. A cheap class close to home can still be poor value if the coaching is weak. Use the trial to judge the room before you commit.

Use the class cards to choose the right first route. Adults usually start with the recreational or competitive choice depending on experience and goals. Parents should start with the junior route and let the coaches advise on progression. PT is for people who want individual coach time rather than a group room.

Which route should I choose?

Adult beginner or fitness goal
Start with Adult Recreational, or read the Belvedere beginners and fitness pages if you want more context first.
Child or teenager
Start with Junior Recreational. Parents can read the Belvedere kids and parents pages before booking.
Competition aim
Read the Competitive Boxing page and use your first group session to ask coaches where you should start.
Private coaching
Use the Belvedere PT page. PT is paid and arranged by WhatsApp, not through the group-class trial.

First session

Use the free trial for group classes

The free trial is a normal class trial. Adults can use it to try the adult group route. Parents can use it for the junior group route. If you are interested in competition, the first visit is still a sensible place for coaches to assess the right starting point.

Bring comfortable training clothes, trainers and water. If you do not own boxing kit yet, do not buy everything before you have spoken to a coach. It is better to understand the class, the pace and the route before spending money on equipment.

If you want Solo, Duo or Trio personal training instead, message first. PT depends on coach availability and format, so it should be handled as a paid enquiry rather than forced through a group-class booking form.

TRY THE RIGHT CLASS FIRST

Book a scheduled group-class trial if you want to test the coaching room, the Belvedere class choice and the pay-as-you-go model together. If you already know you need private coach time, skip the group trial and use the paid PT route instead.
