Yes. 1-to-1 Training is one coach and one boxer. 2-to-1 and 3-to-1 Training are the same private coaching format for two or three people who book together.
If Kidbrooke is practical from your postcode, this is the page to use. If group classes would suit better, compare areas we serve and class routes.
Sessions run at our boxing gym in Kidbrooke, SE3, close to Greenwich, Blackheath, Lewisham, Eltham, Woolwich and Charlton.
No. PT is paid private coaching booked by message. The free trial is for scheduled group classes, not paid PT.
Coach standard
PT is led by qualified boxing coaches, with sessions focused on technique, correction and progression.
Best route
Use PT for private correction, confidence, flexibility, weight-loss accountability, or boxing nutrition support around fuelling and recovery.
Booking clarity
Message first so we can match the coach, time and format. The group-class free trial is separate.
Choose the right route
1-to-1 Training
Best if you want the coach's full attention, faster technical correction, private pacing, or a session built around one specific goal, including weight loss or boxing nutrition.
See 1-to-1 pricing →2-to-1 or 3-to-1 Training
Best for friends, couples, siblings or colleagues who want a dedicated coach, shared accountability and a lower per-person cost.
See 2-to-1 Training →Group classes
The free trial is for scheduled group classes, not paid PT. Use it if you want to sample the gym before committing to normal classes.
Book free group-class trial →PT planning tool
Coaches can now use the session builder for 1-to-1, 2-to-1 and 3-to-1 Training as well as group classes. Pick the format, level, goal and equipment, then generate a printable plan with timings, cues, adaptations and a follow-up message.
Useful for first-session assessments, weight-loss PT, confidence work, technical tune-ups and competition prep. Nutrition prompts stay practical: fuelling, hydration, recovery and habits only.
This is a coach tool, not a booking form. Clients should still message on WhatsApp to arrange paid PT.

Head Coach
Technical boxing, competition preparation
Anton builds fighters from the ground up. BBBofC licensed, ABA Level 2 qualified, and a licensed cutman who corners on show night - he is the right choice if you want to train properly or prepare for competition. He works with beginners too, but his sessions are serious and technically demanding.
Coach and Boxing Nutritionist
Beginners, adult technique, boxing nutrition, performance mindset
If you are starting from scratch, Jon is the right choice. He is calm, clear, and technically sound, and he is especially strong with beginners who want to build confidence and proper habits from the start. For more experienced adults, his high-performance background, technical eye and boxing nutrition work make him equally effective at identifying the training, recovery and fuelling habits that hold progress back.
Coach
Juniors, seniors, 1-to-1 technique
Charles is one of the club's most detail-focused coaches. He works across both junior and senior sessions, but his real strength is 1-to-1 coaching: patient, technical, and thorough. If you want to sharpen positioning, timing, shot selection, or the smaller details that improve how you box, Charles is exactly that kind of coach.
Pick the format before the coach. 1-to-1 is the most focused. 2-to-1 and 3-to-1 lower the cost when you bring the people you want to train with.

Every session starts where you are. Complete beginner? We will build your stance, guard and basic punches from scratch. Already experienced? We will sharpen what you know and fill in the gaps.
A typical session includes warm-up, technique work, pad rounds with your coach and bag work. You will sweat plenty, but you will also learn something every single session.

PT service support
For adults using PT for weight loss, fitness, competition prep or training consistency, Coach Jon can add boxing nutrition support to the coaching plan. It is practical habit work: what to eat around sessions, how to recover, how to stay consistent and how to avoid the usual crash-diet mistakes.
This is boxing performance and habit support, not clinical care. If someone needs clinical nutrition advice, we point them to the right professional rather than pretending PT replaces it.
Tighten everyday food habits while keeping enough fuel to train hard and recover properly.
Simple pre-session food timing, hydration, protein and recovery habits around your boxing week.
Conservative making-weight conversations, no dehydration tricks, and safer fuelling before hard sessions.
Learn before you book
If you are comparing private boxing lessons, start with the practical guides below. They explain first sessions, costs, realistic results, frequency, and whether 1-to-1, 2-to-1 or 3-to-1 Training fits best.
Start here if you have never boxed before and want to know what the coach will expect.
A plain-English walkthrough of the first session, from arrival to pads and bag work.
When 1-to-1 coaching is worth paying for, and when group classes may be enough.
What changes in month one, month three, month six, and beyond.
One, two, or three sessions per week, with the trade-offs for skill and recovery.
How 2-on-1 boxing PT works when two people want to train together.
Use this if work pattern, shifts, commuting, desk stiffness or client pressure is the reason you need private coaching.
We're always looking for qualified boxing coaches and personal trainers to join the team. If you hold a coaching qualification and want to work in a proper boxing gym with a strong community, get in touch.
Get in TouchMessage us with your goal, rough availability and whether you want 1-to-1, 2-to-1 or 3-to-1 Training. We will match you to the right coach and confirm the first-session price.
Message Us on WhatsAppPersonal training in a boxing gym is different from what most people expect. You are not being put through a generic circuit while someone counts reps. The sessions are technique-led - jab, cross, hook, movement, defence - progressing at the pace you are capable of, with continuous correction.
For many beginners, 1-2-1 sessions can speed up technical correction because the coach can focus on one person at a time. Group classes are still a strong route; PT is useful when you want more individual attention.
Our sessions run from early morning to late evening, seven days a week. They work around you, not a fixed class schedule.
No. Most people start 1-2-1 sessions with no experience at all. It is actually the better entry point if you have specific goals - weight loss, fitness, competition preparation - because the programme can be tailored from the start.
Two sessions per week is the minimum for meaningful skill development. Three sessions per week produces faster conditioning results. One session per week maintains what you have built and keeps you consistent. There is no wrong answer - it depends on your schedule and goals.
Yes, and it is a common approach. Personal training for technical development and conditioning; group classes for drilling and environment. Many members do both. See the full timetable for group class times.
Yes, as long as you give at least 24 hours' notice. With less than 24 hours' notice, the deposit is lost. Anton will confirm the deposit amount and payment details when arranging the booking.
Junior Recreational is the normal first step for children aged 7 to 16. Junior personal training is a paid WhatsApp enquiry route for specific situations, subject to coach availability; it is not a separate younger-child class and it is not covered by the free group-class trial.
