Honour and Glory Boxing Club offers junior boxing for children from age 5. All coaches are DBS checked. The sessions are structured and the coaching is age-appropriate for both groups.

Infants and Juniors

Infants (aged 5 to 9) work on coordination, movement, and fundamental boxing technique. Sessions are active, focused, and teach children how to follow instruction and concentrate.

Juniors (aged 10 to 16) develop technical boxing skills alongside real fitness conditioning. Older juniors can work towards amateur competition if they and their parents choose that path. Many train purely for fitness and confidence.

Both groups train separately from 5pm on weekdays. Sessions are £10 each. No contract or joining fee applies.

What Boxing Teaches Children

Safety

All coaches are DBS checked. Sparring is only introduced for juniors who are technically ready and have parental consent. The gym is supervised throughout sessions and the coaching staff takes safeguarding seriously.

Parents are welcome to watch sessions. The environment is safe and properly managed.

What Children Should Bring

Comfortable sports kit and trainers. Hand wraps and light gloves become useful after a few sessions. The coaches can advise on equipment at the trial session.
