Age Groups

The club runs two separate junior programmes.

Infants boxing is for children aged 7 to 9. Sessions at this age are about movement, coordination, listening, and basic techniques delivered in a way that keeps young children engaged. There is no contact sparring at this level.

Juniors boxing is for ages 10 to 16. This group trains with more structure and technical depth. More experienced juniors can progress towards light technical sparring and club-level competition if that is the direction they want to go.

What Parents Need to Know

All coaches are DBS checked. The club is ABA affiliated and coaching team is ABA-qualified, with BBBofC professional experience led by Anton Pattenden, which means the coaching standards are recognised at a national level.

Sessions run from 5pm on weekday evenings. The cost is £10 per session. There is no contract or block booking required. You pay as your child attends.

Children do not need any experience to start. The younger junior group in particular is designed to welcome children who have never done boxing before.
