Kids Boxing Classes Near Sidcup
Honour and Glory Boxing Club runs dedicated children's boxing classes at 122 Broad Walk, Kidbrooke, SE3 8ND. The gym is an 18-minute drive from Sidcup with free parking on site.
Children train in two groups based on age. Infants covers ages 5 to 9 and Juniors covers ages 10 to 16. Both groups train on weekday evenings from 5pm.
Why Boxing for Children
Boxing teaches children discipline, focus, and how to carry themselves under pressure. It is also genuinely good exercise at an age when screens compete for attention. The training structure at H&G is designed for children, not scaled-down adult sessions.

Kids learn proper technique from the start: stance, guard, movement, and how to hit correctly. There is no contact sparring for young beginners. The emphasis is on skill development and fitness.
The Coaching Standard
All coaches at Honour and Glory are DBS-checked and hold BBBofC licences. The club is ABA affiliated, which means the coaching and safety standards meet national governing body requirements.
This matters when you are trusting a club with your child. The credentials are real, not decorative.
Infants (Ages 5 to 9)
The Infants programme is designed for younger children who are new to structured sport. Sessions build coordination, listening skills, and basic boxing technique in a controlled environment.
Classes start from 5pm on weekdays. Sessions are £10 with no contract.
Juniors (Ages 10 to 16)
The Juniors programme moves into more advanced technique and conditioning. Older children who show interest can progress toward amateur competition, though recreational training is the main focus.
The club has produced competitive junior boxers while keeping the environment accessible for those who simply want to train well.
