Kids Boxing Classes Near Plumstead
Plumstead has a strong mix of families and the demand for quality children's activities is real. If you are looking for a sport that challenges your child physically and builds focus and discipline, boxing at Honour and Glory in Kidbrooke is 12 minutes from Plumstead.
Classes run weekdays from 5pm at 122 Broad Walk, Kidbrooke, SE3 8ND.
Two Age Groups, Two Programmes
Infants (ages 7 to 9): Younger children work on coordination, movement, and basic technique. Sessions are structured for the age group: feet active, guard up, listening and responding to instructions. The emphasis is on habit-building. Children at this age learn technique well when it is introduced at the right pace.
Juniors (ages 10 to 16): More technical sessions, longer pad rounds with coaches, and the opportunity to compete in ABA amateur bouts when a coach judges them ready. Several junior members from the Plumstead and Woolwich area have competed for the club.
Why Boxing Works for Children From Plumstead
Plumstead is a practical area with practical values. Parents here are not looking for entertainment dressed up as sport. They want their children to develop real skills, self-discipline, and the confidence that comes from being competent at something difficult.

Boxing delivers that because the feedback is immediate. A correctly thrown combination works. A dropped guard gets pointed out. Children learn to pay attention because inattention has a consequence. That lesson transfers.
Coaches and Safety Standards
All coaches are DBS checked. The club is ABA affiliated. Children work on pads with coaches from the start. Free sparring is only introduced after a coach has assessed readiness. The progression is formal, not left to individual discretion.
