Sunday Boxing Classes Near Lee
Sunday Boxing at Honour and Glory
Sunday morning is underused training time for most people. The week's pressure has lifted, the diary is clear, and there is actually time to get to the gym and train properly rather than fitting in a rushed session between commitments.
Honour and Glory runs open sessions on Sunday mornings from 8:30am. These are not beginner taster classes. They are proper training sessions - technical boxing, conditioning, pad and bag work - open to members across all ability levels.

What Sunday Sessions Look Like
The Sunday open session format is less structured than a weekday class. Coaches move around the gym working with members individually and in small groups. The session includes:
- Technical drilling and combination work on bags
- Pad work with coaches and senior members
- Conditioning rounds at appropriate intensity
- Sparring for those at that stage: always optional, always supervised
The open format suits members who want to focus on a specific technical area, those who want more time on a particular drill, and those who simply prefer a less prescriptive session structure.
It also suits people from Lee who find Sunday morning more accessible than Mon/Wed/Fri evenings. The gym is less busy than peak weekday sessions, which means more individual attention from coaches.

Who Sunday Sessions Are For
Anyone who is training at Honour and Glory or who wants to start. The first session is free - Sunday sessions count for this.
Adults and juniors both train on Sunday mornings, though the coaching splits to ensure age-appropriate work. Recreational adult sessions cost £10. Junior sessions cost £8.50.
For Sunday sessions, arrive at 8:30am in comfortable sportswear and clean trainers and pay per session.
The Advantage of a Sunday Slot from Lee
For Lee residents, Sunday morning removes one of the practical barriers that makes weekday evening training difficult. Traffic and travel time are both lower on Sunday mornings than on Mon/Wed/Fri evenings. The 10 to 12 minutes journey from Lee to Kidbrooke takes less time and less effort at 8am on Sunday than at 6pm on Tuesday.
Lee station to Kidbrooke via Lewisham takes around 20 minutes - Sunday train services are less frequent but the journey is still manageable.
Free parking at 122 Broad Walk, Kidbrooke, SE3 8ND means you do not need to factor in parking time.
Starting
The first session is free. Book online or simply come along. The Sunday session is an excellent introduction to the club because the less structured format gives you more opportunity to talk to coaches and other members about what training here looks like on a regular basis.
