Head Coach
Anton
Technical boxing, competition preparation
Anton builds fighters from the ground up. BBBofC licensed, ABA Level 2 qualified, and a licensed cutman who corners on show night - he is the right choice if you want to train properly or prepare for competition. He works with beginners too, but his sessions are serious and technically demanding.
Coach
Ellen
Fitness, conditioning, recreational boxing
Ellen focuses on boxing fitness and conditioning. Whether you want to get fight-ready or just seriously fit, her sessions combine proper technique with high-intensity training. Perfect for anyone who wants results without the fluff.
Coach
Jon
Beginners, adult technique, performance mindset
If you are starting from scratch, Jon is the right choice. He is calm, clear, and technically sound, and he is especially strong with beginners who want to build confidence and proper habits from the start. For more experienced adults, his high-performance background and technical eye make him equally effective at identifying and fixing technique gaps.
Coach
Charles
Juniors, seniors, 1-to-1 technique
Charles is one of the club's most detail-focused coaches. He works across both junior and senior sessions, but his real strength is 1-to-1 coaching: patient, technical, and thorough. If you want to sharpen positioning, timing, shot selection, or the smaller details that improve how you box, Charles is exactly that kind of coach.
SOLO, DUO OR TRIO
Pick the format before the coach. Solo is the most focused. Duo and Trio lower the cost when you bring the people you want to train with.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Every session starts where you are. Complete beginner? We will build your stance, guard and basic punches from scratch. Already experienced? We will sharpen what you know and fill in the gaps.
A typical session includes warm-up, technique work, pad rounds with your coach and bag work. You will sweat plenty, but you will also learn something every single session.

Message Us on WhatsAppWhat to expect from 1-2-1 boxing coaching
Personal training in a boxing gym is different from what most people expect. You are not being put through a generic circuit while someone counts reps. The sessions are technique-led - jab, cross, hook, movement, defence - progressing at the pace you are capable of, with continuous correction.
For most beginners, the first 4-6 weeks of 1-2-1 sessions are worth more than six months of group classes in terms of technical development. The ratio of instruction to drilling is much higher. Bad habits get caught early.
Our sessions run from early morning to late evening, seven days a week. They work around you, not a fixed class schedule.
Common questions about personal training
Do I need boxing experience before starting 1-2-1 sessions?
No. Most people start 1-2-1 sessions with no experience at all. It is actually the better entry point if you have specific goals - weight loss, fitness, competition preparation - because the programme can be tailored from the start.
How often should I train to see results?
Two sessions per week is the minimum for meaningful skill development. Three sessions per week produces faster conditioning results. One session per week maintains what you have built and keeps you consistent. There is no wrong answer - it depends on your schedule and goals.
Can I combine 1-2-1 sessions with group classes?
Yes, and it is a common approach. Personal training for technical development and conditioning; group classes for drilling and environment. Many members do both. See the full timetable for group class times.
Can I move a PT booking?
Yes, as long as you give at least 24 hours' notice. With less than 24 hours' notice, the deposit is lost. Anton will confirm the deposit amount and payment details when arranging the booking.
Is personal training available for children?
Yes. 1-2-1 sessions are available for children aged 7 and above, subject to coach availability. Junior personal training focuses on fundamentals and is often used to prepare younger boxers for their first competition or to accelerate technique before joining Junior Competitive or Adult Competitive.
