WOMEN'S BOXING CLASSES

A proper boxing class. Not a fitness fad.

SATURDAY MORNINGS, 10:30AM-12PM

Our dedicated women's session runs every Saturday morning. It's the same quality coaching as every other class - real boxing technique, pad work, bag work, and conditioning - in a space where women can train with confidence.

Whether you've never thrown a punch or you've been boxing for years, you're welcome. Most of our women started as complete beginners.

WHAT TO EXPECT

THE SESSION

90 minutes of proper boxing training. Warm-up with skipping and shadow boxing, then technique work on the pads with a coach, bag rounds, and conditioning to finish.

Coaches set the pace to your level. First-timers train alongside regulars - everyone works at their own intensity.

THE ATMOSPHERE

Supportive, focused, and genuinely welcoming. No posturing, no judgement. Women here push each other and celebrate each other's progress.

It's a community. People come back because of the people as much as the training.

WHAT TO BRING

Comfortable sportswear and trainers. We provide gloves, wraps, and all other equipment. Bring a water bottle. That's it.

BEYOND SATURDAYS

Women are welcome at all our recreational and open sessions throughout the week. The Saturday class is a dedicated space, but it's not the only option.

QUESTIONS WE GET ASKED

Do I need any experience?

None at all. Most women who walk through the door have never boxed before. Coaches teach you everything from scratch - how to stand, how to move, how to throw a jab. You'll be surprised how quickly you pick it up.

Will I get hit?

No. The recreational classes are non-contact. You'll hit pads held by a coach and work the heavy bags, but nobody is going to punch you. Sparring is only for those who specifically want to progress to competition.

Is it just for fitness or can I compete?

Both. Most women come for fitness and technique, and that's completely fine. But if you want to take it further, our coaches can guide you into the amateur programme. We've had women compete at regional level.

Can I bring a friend?

Absolutely. First session is free for both of you. Lots of women come in pairs the first time - and both usually come back.

What age range is it?

17 and up. We typically have women from their 20s through to their 50s and 60s. Boxing is genuinely for every age and fitness level.
