Women-specific route
A practical route for Charlton women choosing between women-specific boxing, mixed adult classes and paid PT.
Class fit
For women in Charlton, the first decision is not only location. It is whether you want a women-specific session, a mixed adult group class or paid one-to-one coaching. Each can be the right route depending on your reason for starting.
The women-specific route is useful if you want a focused first step with other women in the room. Check the current class page if Saturday timing matters; Mixed Adult Recreational can be right if the schedule, training pace or class format fits better. Paid personal training is separate if you want privacy, technique correction or a fitness plan built around you.
The free trial is for scheduled group classes. Use it to judge whether the coach explains clearly, whether the atmosphere feels respectful and whether the training gives you a reason to come back.
Adult Recreational is a clear route if you want regular mixed group training.
Adult classes
First visit
From Charlton, the Kidbrooke gym is close enough for a practical trial without making a big production of it. Wear normal training kit, bring water, and tell the coach you are new or returning after time away.
A good first session should feel coached, not random. Expect boxing technique, movement, bag or pad work, conditioning and correction. You should leave tired but clearer about whether this route suits you.
