Rival RB80 Impulse Bag Gloves
A dedicated bag glove should not pretend to be a sparring glove.
Pads and bags guide
Bag gloves should protect your hands while still giving honest feedback. The best bag glove is not always the softest glove. It should let you feel impact without punishing your knuckles, wrists or technique.
Inside Honour and Glory
These images show the real training environment behind the guidance on this page: coached pad work, bags, junior sessions and the gym visitors are deciding whether to try.
If you mainly hit bags and pads, choose a glove with strong wrist alignment, durable outer material and enough feedback to notice poor contact. Many adults will land between 12oz and 16oz depending on hand size and injury history.
Avoid using a compact bag glove for sparring unless your coach explicitly approves that exact model. Bag work rewards feedback. Sparring requires partner protection.
A dedicated bag glove should not pretend to be a sparring glove.
This fixes the obvious premium Rival omission: a serious Intelli-Shock bag glove for people who hit bags hard and want wrist structure.
A better premium Rival bag-glove inclusion than another generic budget glove.
Agility gives the page the other half of the Hit N Move story: compact and responsive, not just another generic premium glove.

Good bag gloves protect the hand while still giving feedback. Look for wrist stability, durable outer materials and padding that is not already too soft for repeated bag impact.
You can, but heavy bag work can break down softer sparring padding faster. If you train bags a lot, a dedicated bag glove can make sense.
It depends on hand size, experience and injury history. Many adults use 12oz or 14oz for bag feedback, while 16oz gives more padding and fatigue. Do not choose by weight alone.
