Boxing for 5 Year Olds Near Petts Wood (2026)

Honour and Glory Boxing Club runs infants boxing for ages 5 to 9. Sessions are Tuesday and Thursday from 5pm to 6pm, coached by BBBofC licensed instructors.
What They Actually Do
No sparring. No contact. No ring work. The sessions focus on coordination, balance, basic boxing movements, and discipline. Think pad work with a coach, footwork games, fun conditioning exercises, and structured drills that teach children to listen, concentrate, and move properly.
It is engaging in a way that many children's sports are not. The combination of physical activity, skill learning, and the novelty of boxing keeps them interested week after week.
Is 5 Too Young?
No. This age is ideal for developing motor skills, coordination, and body awareness. The boxing element provides structure and focus. The games element keeps it fun. Children who start at 5 tend to develop better coordination and concentration than those who start later.
Several of our infants have progressed into the junior programme at 10, with some going on to compete at regional level.

Pricing
£10 per session. No contract, no joining fee. If your child tries it and it is not for them, you simply stop coming.
