Women's Boxing Near Belvedere
Women's boxing at Honour and Glory Boxing Club runs every Saturday morning, 10am to 11am. The session is dedicated entirely to female members, runs at £10 per session, and requires no contract or prior experience.
The club is at 122 Broad Walk, Kidbrooke, SE3 8ND. From Belvedere, the drive takes around 18 minutes. Free parking is available when you arrive.
Why a Dedicated Session Matters
A women-only slot is not a marketing gesture. It changes the dynamic of the training. The session has its own rhythm, its own coaching focus, and a group of women who all started from the same place: no experience, some uncertainty, and a willingness to find out what boxing actually involves.
The result is a class that moves at the right pace for the group. Technical instruction is clear, the environment is supportive without being soft, and the standard of coaching is the same as every other session at the club. ABA/Alliance-credentialed coaches do not adjust their coaching standards based on who is in the room.
What the Saturday Session Covers
The session follows proper boxing training structure. Warm-up, technique work, bag work, pad work, and conditioning. You will learn how to stand, how to punch correctly, and how to move. As you develop, the sessions build on what you already know.

Fitness is a natural side effect of this kind of training, but it is not the primary focus. You are learning a sport. The fitness follows from doing the sport seriously.
Who Trains in the Women's Session
Women from across south-east London train on Saturdays, including regular members from Belvedere and Erith. Ages range widely. Starting points range from complete beginners to those who have done some fitness boxing elsewhere and want real coaching.
The common thread is that they wanted a session that was specifically theirs, in a club with proper credentials, without the commercial gym atmosphere.
