Boxing Holiday Camps in Kidbrooke SE3
Boxing Holiday Camps in Kidbrooke
For parents in Kidbrooke SE3, the holiday activity problem has a local solution. Honour and Glory Boxing Club at 122 Broad Walk runs holiday camp sessions for children aged 7-16 during school holiday periods.
The gym is in SE3. There is no journey to plan, no awkward transport to arrange. You walk your children to the gym and pick them up from it. That logistical simplicity matters during school holidays when parents are already managing the complexity of childcare arrangements.
What the Holiday Sessions Offer
The camp sessions are structured differently from the regular term-time classes, adapted for the holiday format where children may attend for multiple consecutive days. The emphasis is on establishing or developing boxing fundamentals through concentrated daily practice.
For children who already train at the club, holiday camps accelerate their development. The additional practice time with coaches, the daily repetition of technical elements, and the extended sessions produce progress that is faster than the weekly term-time cadence allows.
For children new to boxing, the camp format provides a fuller introduction than a single trial session. By the end of a three-day camp, a new child has enough foundation to know whether boxing suits them and whether they want to continue in the regular programme.
The Age Groups

The infants boxing class format covers children aged 7-9. No contact sparring. The focus is on coordination, movement, and the fundamentals of boxing in an age-appropriate format. Sessions are energetic and structured around the attention spans of younger children.
The recreational juniors class format covers ages 10-16. More developed boxing technique - combinations, defensive movement, footwork, and for those who are ready, controlled technical sparring under supervision.
The coaching team adapts the session content to the group each day. Holiday camps are not one-size-fits-all; the coaches assess the group at the start of each session and pitch the content appropriately.
Safeguarding and Safety
All coaches hold current ABA qualifications and have completed England Boxing's safeguarding education. The club is ABA-affiliated, which means nationally mandated safeguarding frameworks apply.
For the infants group, there is no contact sparring. Period. For the juniors group, any controlled technical work is supervised, based on the coach's assessment of individual readiness, and never pressured. Parents are welcome to observe.
Practical Information
Holiday camp dates are released ahead of each school holiday period. Places are limited and tend to fill quickly because of the club's SE3 location and local membership. Contact the club directly for the next available dates and current pricing.
The gym is at 122 Broad Walk, Kidbrooke, SE3 8ND. Free parking on site.
