Sunday Boxing Classes Near Greenwich
Sunday Training at Honour and Glory
Most gyms run one Sunday class at a fixed time. We do something different. Honour and Glory runs open boxing sessions every Sunday from 8:30am through to 2:30pm. You come when it suits you, stay as long as you want, and train properly.
The open sessions are not structured like a class - they are proper training time. Bags, pads, sparring if you are at that level. It is the kind of Sunday morning that makes the rest of the week easier.
Why Sundays Work Well for Greenwich Residents

Greenwich is four minutes from the gym by car - closer than almost anywhere else in south-east London. The 178 bus runs directly from Greenwich town centre to near the gym. If you prefer the train, it is two stops on Southeastern from Greenwich station to Kidbrooke, then an 8-minute walk.
Free parking is available at the youth centre right next to the gym. So if you are driving from SE10 on a Sunday morning, getting here is not a problem.
Who Turns Up on Sundays
The Sunday sessions attract a good mix. Members who want extra time on top of weekday classes, people who work odd hours and cannot make the Monday-Thursday evening sessions, and beginners who want a lower-pressure environment to find their feet.
All ages are welcome - juniors aged 10-16, adults, and seniors train alongside each other. The atmosphere on Sunday mornings tends to be purposeful but relaxed. People are working hard without the intensity of a competition preparation night.
What Sunday Sessions Cost
The pricing is the same as weekday sessions: ยฃ10 for recreational adults, ยฃ8.50 for recreational juniors, ยฃ5 for those on the Elite programme. No monthly fee, no commitment. You pay per session.
There is no joining fee to start attending. Claim a free trial session and see whether the Sunday format suits your schedule.
The Wider Programme
If Sunday sessions become a habit, the Monday-Thursday evening sessions and Saturday morning classes are worth adding. Many members from Charlton and Woolwich use the Sunday open sessions as their main training day, then add weekday evenings when their schedule allows.
