Pay As You Go Boxing Near Greenwich
No Contract Boxing Near Greenwich
Most gyms in south-east London operate on monthly contracts with minimum terms. Some make cancellation deliberately difficult. If you have been caught by a contract gym before, or if you simply prefer to pay for what you actually use rather than what you might use, Honour and Glory Boxing Club is structured differently.
There is no contract. No joining fee. No direct debit. No cancellation process because there is nothing to cancel. You pay per session and come back when it suits you.
The gym is in Kidbrooke, SE3 - within the Royal Borough of Greenwich, around 15 minutes from Greenwich town centre.
Session Fees
- Adults: £10 per session (weekday evenings)
- Juniors ages 10-16: £8.50 per session
- Infants ages 5-9: £8.50 per session
- Amateur boxers: £5 per session
If you train twice a week, that is £20 a week for adults. If you miss a week, you spend nothing. A typical contract gym charges £40-80 per month regardless of how often you attend.
Who Benefits from Pay As You Go

The structure suits specific situations well.
Parents signing children up for activities face a familiar problem: a child commits enthusiastically, attends for three months, and then decides they would rather do something else. At a contract gym, you continue paying for sessions your child is not attending. At Honour and Glory, you pay only when your child is there.
Beginners wanting to try boxing before committing benefit similarly. The free trial session tells you whether you enjoy it; subsequent sessions cost £10 each while you decide whether to make it a regular habit. There is no pressure to commit to anything.
Shift workers and irregular schedules make fixed membership wasteful. If you cannot reliably attend the same days each week, paying monthly for a set number of sessions you may not use is not sensible. Pay-as-you-go matches your training to your actual schedule.
Anyone who has been burned by a gym contract - and that is most people who have been gym members for any length of time - will appreciate the logic of not having one.
What the Sessions Offer
Honour and Glory is an ABA-affiliated boxing club with BBBofC licensed coaches. The sessions are proper boxing training: pad work, bag work, technical drilling, conditioning, and controlled sparring for those at that stage. Not boxercise, not fitness circuits with boxing branding.
The gym has been running in Kidbrooke since the club was founded. The coaches are experienced in working with members from complete beginners through to competitive amateur level.
