Two Stops From Greenwich

If you live near Greenwich station, you are closer to a proper boxing gym than most people in London realise. Honour and Glory Boxing Club sits in Kidbrooke - just two stops from Greenwich on the Southeastern line. Door to door, that is under ten minutes on the train.

The station at Kidbrooke is an 8-minute walk from our gym at 122 Broad Walk, SE3 8ND. There are no complicated connections, no tube changes, no buses required. You get off the train and walk.

Why Greenwich People Train Here

Honour and Glory Boxing Club gym interior

We have members from all over SE10 - Greenwich town centre, East Greenwich, the Peninsula, and further along the river. The short commute makes it easy to maintain a consistent training habit. Consistency is everything in boxing, and removing friction is how you get consistent.

If you prefer to drive, free parking is available at the youth centre right next to the gym. We are just off the A2 Rochester Way, which makes Greenwich one of the fastest routes to us. Four minutes by car with no traffic.

What You Will Find at the Club

Honour and Glory is a community-focused boxing club, founded in 2020 and run by BBBofC-licensed, ABA-affiliated coaches. Head coach Anton Pattenden has built a proper programme here - not a fitness fad, not a pad-holding class with a playlist.

We run sessions for everyone: infants aged 5-9, recreational juniors and adults, and a serious amateur boxing programme. Monday to Thursday evenings, Saturday mornings, and open sessions on Sundays.

Pricing is clear. Recreational adult sessions are £10. Juniors are £8.50. Amateur sessions are £5. No joining fee, no contract.

Getting Here From Greenwich Town Centre

The 178 bus runs directly from Greenwich town centre and stops nearby. The 286 is another option. If you are coming from the Cutty Sark or Old Royal Naval College end of Greenwich, the train from Greenwich station is the fastest route.

For anyone in East Greenwich or the Peninsula, the drive along the A2 is the simplest option. See the Greenwich area page for full directions.

Come and Try It

The club holds a 4.9-star rating on Google from over 40 reviews. That number is not an accident - it reflects what happens when coaches actually care and the training is genuinely good.

If you are in Greenwich and looking for boxing, this is the most practical option in the area. Claim a free trial session and come and see for yourself.

People in Blackheath are often surprised how close we are too - worth knowing before signing up somewhere further away.
