Women's Boxing Near Dartford

The women's boxing class at Honour and Glory runs every Saturday morning. It is a proper boxing session with structured technical coaching, not a fitness circuit that uses boxing equipment for marketing purposes.

The club is at 122 Broad Walk, Kidbrooke, SE3 8ND, about 24 minutes from Dartford. Full area details here.

The Saturday Morning Session

Women's boxing runs from 10:30am to 12pm every Saturday. The cost is £10. No contract, no direct debit, no joining fee.

The session covers technique on the pads and heavy bags, footwork and movement drills, and conditioning work. Coaches hold BBBofC licences and the club is ABA affiliated. The instruction is consistent, structured, and appropriate for women at all experience levels.

Free parking is on site. From Dartford, the A2 route takes about 24 minutes in Saturday morning traffic, which tends to be lighter than the weekday evening commute.

Who the Class Is For

The class is open to women with no boxing experience and to those who have been training for some time. Both groups are coached within the same session.

Complete beginners are shown the basics: stance, guard, and fundamental punches. More experienced members work on technique refinement, combinations, and conditioning. Coaches manage both levels simultaneously without either group holding the other back.

No previous fitness level is required. The session is physically demanding but the intensity is appropriate to where you are starting from.

Kent and Boxing

Dartford has working-class sporting roots and Kent has produced women boxers at a serious level. Women who want to learn the sport properly rather than attend a circuits class tend to recognise the difference between real boxing instruction and a commercial imitation.

The club has a 4.9-star Google rating from over 40 reviews and has been operating since 2020. Over 200 members is a strong indicator that the environment works for a wide range of people.

Nearby areas like Bexley and Sidcup also have women who make the Saturday journey to Kidbrooke for the same reasons.

What to Bring

Wear comfortable training clothes. Bring water and wraps if you have them. If you do not own boxing gloves, speak to a coach before the session and they will advise on what to get. Borrowed gloves may be available for a first session.
