SE LONDON'S COMMUNITY BOXING GYM
Looking for a boxing coach in South East London? Honour & Glory Boxing Club is based in Kidbrooke, SE3, right off the A2. We're well connected to the whole of SE London by bus, train, and road.
What sets us apart from other gyms in the area? Our coaches are properly qualified. Head coach Anton holds a BBBofC licence - that's the British Boxing Board of Control, the body that regulates professional boxing. We're also ABA affiliated, which means we can register fighters for amateur competition.
But you don't need to want to compete. Plenty of our members just train for fitness, stress relief, or self-defence. Whatever your reason for walking through the door, we'll coach you properly.
YOUR COACHES
Coach Anton
Head Coach • BBBofC Licensed • ABA Level 2
Anton runs the show. His BBBofC licence means he's qualified to work professional corners. He has over 15 years of competitive experience and knows how to develop fighters from scratch. Technical, patient, and demanding when he needs to be.
Coach Ellen
Coach • ABA Level 1
Ellen handles conditioning and fitness. She'll push your cardio harder than you thought possible, but always with encouragement. If you want to improve your stamina and overall fitness, her sessions deliver.
Coach Jon
Coach • Safeguarding Certified
Jon works with beginners and helps run our youth sessions. He's brilliant at breaking down fundamentals and making newcomers feel comfortable. If it's your first time boxing, he'll probably be the one showing you the ropes.

A TYPICAL SESSION
Sessions run for about 90 minutes. We start with skipping and shadow boxing to get warm, then move into technique work. Your coach will demonstrate and correct as you drill punches, footwork, and defensive movements.
The second half usually involves pad work with a coach, bag work, and conditioning. If you've been training a while, you might do some sparring. Everything is adapted to your level.
It's hard work. You'll sweat. But you'll also learn real boxing skills from coaches who know what they're talking about. That's what makes the difference.
