About Honour & Glory
Honour & Glory is an England Boxing affiliated amateur boxing club at the Samuel Montagu Youth Centre in Kidbrooke, SE3. We focus exclusively on boxing - proper technique, proper coaching, proper competitive pathways. Our head coach Anton has 30+ years of experience, and our coaches hold BBBofC licences.
We run classes from age 5 upwards, with no joining fees and no contracts. Pay as you go from £5 per session.

This is the important distinction. Deptford Boxing Gym is a commercial gym that offers boxing and Muay Thai classes. Honour & Glory is an affiliated amateur boxing club.
What does that mean in practice? If you want to compete in amateur boxing, you need to train at an England Boxing affiliated club with licensed coaches. That's us. If you want a good boxing workout and aren't interested in competition, a commercial gym can work well too.
Our ABAE affiliation and BBBofC licensed coaches mean we can card boxers, enter them in official competitions, and provide the coaching pathway from beginner to competitive fighter. A commercial gym typically can't offer that.
Classes
Deptford Boxing Gym offers boxing and Muay Thai classes for all levels. It's a solid range, but the focus leans more towards fitness-oriented training.
Honour & Glory runs infant boxing (5-9), juniors (10-16), amateur boxing, recreational adults, women's boxing, open sessions, and personal training from £30/hour. Every class teaches real boxing skills, not just boxing-style exercise.

Honour & Glory in Kidbrooke is closer for anyone in Eltham, Blackheath, Lee, or Greenwich town centre.
